The 3rd Annual Miss Camellia
City Pageant will be held June 12th, at the Slidell Little
Theatre. It is the first preliminary to the Miss USA Pageant and the
Miss Universe pageant produced by Donald Trump, on the Louisiana
North shore. This pageant is directed by Shelly Winters Black,
Director and CEO of Shelly's Pageant Express Inc. Mrs. Black has been
directing pageants in Louisiana for over 15 years and is extremely
excited to bring her productions to the Louisiana North shore. The
community of Slidell has shown an out pouring of support and many
local businesses jumped on board with prizes for the new winners.

Attractions Hair Salon, Slidell Little Theatre, The Dr. Dooley &
J.J. Dooley Foundation, Total Image by Brian Applewhite, Rhine Stone
Runway of Kenner.. This year's Charity is the STARC (St. Tammany
Parish Association for Retarded Citizens) Foundation where
contestants are asked to bring clothing for both men and women in
conjunction with the Slidell Little Theatre.
The 2010 children winners are: Baby
Master ( Alexander Thomas), Baby Miss (Annabelle Crain) ,Tiny Miss
(Lauryn Smith), Toddler Miss (Caidyn Amison) Petite Miss (Isabella
Williamson) , Little Miss (Tori Lalonde of Lafayette) and Pre Teen
(Lexie Hebert of Bogalusa) The pageant is open state wide to
contestants. This is a Natural Beauty Pageant for the children. No
Make-up or fake hair pieces allowed.Dress attire is Party Wear, fancy
dress and we also have boy divisions.
Our Children winners win a full paid
entry to the 11th Annual Miss Louisiana State Pageant &
Talent Expo scheduled July 16th & 17th in
Metairie, Louisiana.
The Miss, Teen and Mrs. Camellia City
Pageant will be choreographed by Brian Apple white of Slidell .The
Opening Production number will feature, The delegates all wearing
shiny cocktail dresses, in all shades of the Camellia Flowers.
The 2010-2011 Miss Teen Camellia City
is Jasmine Eugene of New Orleans, Miss Camellia City is Hillary
Herlinger of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Camellia City is Allison Johnston
Whitstine of Monroe, Louisiana. Allison competed in the Mrs.
Louisiana America Pageant and Won the Ultimate Mrs. Crown and
represented Louisiana at the Mrs. America Pageant. If you are married
and 21 years or age or older, you qulaify to compete in the Mrs.
Division. No experience nescessary.
Teen Miss Camellia City placed in the
top 15 at Louisiana USA state pageant in Novemner of 2010. You must
be 14 years of age to 18 to enter teen.
Miss Camelia City 2009, Page Pennock
captured the Miss Louisiana USA Title and will be competing in the
Miss USA Pageant in Las Vegas in June, 2011. You must be 19 to 26 to
qulaify for the Miss division.
The Camellia Award was presented to
last year's recipient, Mrs. Frances Keele Black of Slidell for her
past efforts and membership in the Camellia society; Mrs. Black also
has a Camellia named in her honor called, The Frances Black Camellia!
This Award will be given out annually to someone that has been
involved or volunteered their time and efforts to the Camellia Club
or Society.
The Dr. Dooley Award will be given to
one of the Contestants, for outstanding Community Service.
The Pageantry Spirit Award is for
Outstanding Contribution to the Pageant & Entertainment Industry
and last year it was awarded to Slidell's own Mr. Brian Fontenot. You

Donations for S.T.A.R.C. May be brought
to the Slidell Little Theatre and the public are invited to attend.
Children's Pageant is at 11AM. Doors
open to the public @ 10:30AM
Teen*Miss*Mrs. Pageant is at 6:30PM.
Doors open to the public @ 6:00PM
Adults $15, Children 12 and under $10.
Visiting Queens are invited to attend at no charge.
